Camping Notice:  There is no water available at the range for camp use.  If you require water at your camp you will need to bring your own.

Detour Notice: Travelers coming to the WOWS Range for Fire in the Hills this weekend should be aware of numerous construction projects in the area that may impact travel to and from the range.

The first is Hwy 25 north of Menomonie at Wheeler, WI is closed.  Travelers will need to follow Hwy 170 West from Wheeler to Boyceville.  Hwy 79 North at Boyceville to Connorsvile, and then left on Hwy 64 and approx. 1 mile to Cty Rd. Q.  Follow signs to the range.

The second is in Menomonie.  Hwy 12 is closed between Hwy 25 and Fleet Farm.  It is a very short distance, just follow the detour signs (short detour connects travelers to Hwy 12 from Hwy 25 near Arby’s).

Long Range Notice:  WOWS is currently in the process of transitioning the long range facility from its former off-site location to the main range.  This is a substantial undertaking and will take some time to complete.  At present we do not feel that we can offer a quality long range experience at this time and have elected to put long range activities on hold for the 2019 season.  We hope to have the new long range facility up and running for the 2020 season.

The banquet this year will be held on the WOWS Range and will be catered by Chuck Wagon Catering.
