Fire in the Hills

Fire in the Hills is the Wisconsin Old West Shootists annual 3 day match held on the fourth weekend in August.  The SASS Wisconsin State Championship is held at Fire in the Hills on a rotating basis, sharing the honor with the Western Wisconsin Wild Bunch and the Rock River Regulators.

Fire in the Hills will host the 2020 SASS Wisconsin State Championship**. Due to COVID-19, there may be some changes to the Fire in the Hills that you are used to. We are doing our best to plan a safe and fun match for everyone, and will post additional information as it becomes available. Thank you for your understanding during these difficult times.

To celebrate Fire in the Hills 2020, each registered shooter will have his/her name entered into a gun drawing (one entry per registered shooter).  Winner will be announced at the awards ceremony.  Must be present to win.

Banquet – Due to circumstances regarding COVID-19, we have decided to cancel Banquet for Fire in the Hills 2020.

Friday Night Feed has also been canceled from Fire in the Hills 2020

Camping Notice:  There is no water available at the range for camp use.  If you require water at your camp you will need to bring your own

ATTENTION: In light of the recent order issued by Governor Evers, face coverings are required in all structures in Wisconsin, including our stages.  To comply, face coverings will be required on the range when social/physical distancing cannot be maintained.  We will accommodate exceptions as outlined in the order (link below).  Additional waivers will be required to verify exceptions.  If you have questions or concerns, please contact a Board Member.  We are doing our best to comply with state and local mandates while providing our shooters as safe and fun events as we possibly can.

WI Mask Mandate:

Face Covering Exemption Waiver:  Face Covering Mandate Exemption Waiver – Any shooter intending to remove their mask while they shoot will be required to sign an exemption waiver.
